01. Stop future renewals
A live subscription must provide a direct cancellation option in the billing account. Before checkout is launched, the operator must also publish a working support route. Cancellation must not require purchasing another service or speaking to a sales representative.
02. When cancellation takes effect
Cancel before the displayed renewal date to stop the next charge. Unless a refund or legal remedy applies, access continues until the end of the current paid period. Provide a dated confirmation and clearly show that no next renewal is scheduled.
03. Subscription and license differences
Cancelling membership does not cancel a separate commercial content license. A license’s duration, termination and reuse restrictions are governed by its signed order. Statutory rights are not restricted.
04. This version
No active subscription can be created here and there is no billing account to cancel. Do not present a local confirmation message as proof that an external subscription was cancelled.
